- DIGITAL OR FILM?

100% Digital. We shoot with Canon Mark iv's & a Canon R6.

- How many images will I get?

We guarantee at least 700 images for a typical 8 hour wedding. But quite honestly, you will receive more than that. We take way too many pictures because we get so excited capturing your big day.

- When will I receive my images?

Weddings take about 6-8 weeks. Portraits and Minis take 3-4 weeks.

- Can I have RAW files (negative unedited)?

We do not release RAW files to clients under any circumstances.

- Should I bring anything to my portrait session?

It’s up to you. We like to work without props, but we also understand that there are things special to you, your fiancé, family, and friends.

- What about locations?

We have plenty in mind, but we also LOVE suggestions! We love going to new places so message us and tell us what you are looking for!

- When should I book my shoot?

The sooner the better! Weddings book 6-12 months in advance. The venue must be secured before booking.

- What does a natural light wedding photographer mean?

We draw in natural light. We like our images to look as crisp and “natural” as possible. Less editing and more REAL pictures! Yes, I also shoot indoors. However, please consult with us ahead of time if you are planning on having a nighttime wedding or venue with limited light.

Check out our work and see if we are a perfect fit!

Can I post my pictures to Facebook and Instagram?

Please do! We love when people share our pictures. Just make sure to give us credit and don’t manipulate/edit your pictures. A simple caption in an album or hashtag on Insta will do.

- What's in your Camera Bag?

We have two Canon Mark IV's, a Canon R6, 50mm 1.2 & 1.4 lenses, Canon 35mm 1.4, 70-200mm Lens, 24-70mm lens, 135mm lens, 24-7, 100mm lens, Canon flashes, light stands, and lots of camera accessories!

- Do you have insurance?

Most definitely! We can provide a copy for your venue if necessary.

- Do you travel?

Is the sky blue? Yes! We love traveling. We have our passports ready to go! Travel fees do apply.

- What about portrait sessions?

Portrait sessions (seniors, engagements, bridals families, e-sessions, etc.) will receive at least 75 images.

- Can I print the images myself?

Yes, you will have the right to unlimited copies, print, and other reproductions for personal, non-commericial use and distribution. Just remember that a professional lab offers higher quality photo paper and inks. Non-professional labs do not produce the same dreamy work! Check out WHCC and mpix.

- How would you describe your style?

We like to think that I have a photo journalistic style with classic taste and a tad bit of oh-so dreamy whimsical touch. Hill's inner T-Swift that likes to dream. But, we love CLEAN pictures and not a ton of editing but tons of smiles, movement, and emotion.

- What should I wear?

Anything COMFORTABLE! Wear what you love to wear everyday. Try to compliment your outfits and not match. We want YOU. We want your personality to show through your clothes!

- How long will it take?

Portrait sessions normally last about an hour. It’s plenty of time. However, make sure that YOU are on time. If there’s one thing we encourage, it’s to be early. Your session starts when we schedule it. The time starts ticking at the time of your appointment and we have some dreamy pictures to take!

- What is required to book my wedding date?

A signed contract and non-refundable retainer. The rest of the payment is due the week of the wedding.

- Do I get all the images?

YES! We don’t believe in charging for pictures. Once they’re in your hands, they are YOURS. You will receive a print release through an online gallery called Pixieset. Once you receive the link, you can share with your friends and family so they can download them also.

When can I see my pictures?

Each photo is edited with care and selected from over a thousand pictures, and it is our job to deliver quality images to you in timely matter. We promised, as stated in the contract, to have the images back to you within 6-8 weeks and if it is in the middle of wedding season, it may be longer. But for the meantime, I put on sneak peeks on my Facebook fan page, “Hillary Leah Photography LLC.”

- Where do I get my print rights release?

Download it here! Print & take with you in case someone stops you and asks if you are crossing copyright infringement laws.

- Do you eat at the reception?

Yes, we do require a meal (hot or cold). Either way, we are incredibly thankful! J & I love food… especially wedding cake!
