Do you travel?
Is the sky blue? Yes! I love traveling and just charge an additional fee for gas and hotel (if it’s necessary).
How many images will I get?
I guarantee at least 700 images for a typical 8 hour wedding. But quite honestly, you will recieve more than that. I take way too many pictures because I get so excited capturing your big day.
What about portrait sessions?
Portrait sessions (seniors, families, e-sessions, etc.) will receive at least 60.
When will I receive my images?
Weddings take about 6-8 weeks.
Can I print the images myself?
Yes, you will have the right to unlimited copies, print, and other reproductions for personal, non-commericial use and distribution. Just remember that a professional lab offers higher quality photo paper and inks. Non-professional labs do not produce the same dreamy work! Check out WHCC and mpix.
Can I have RAW files (negative unedited)?
I do not release RAW files to clients under any circumstances.
How would you describe your style?
I like to think that I have a photo journalistic style with classic taste and a tad bit of oh-so dreamy whimsical touch. It’s my inner T-Swift that likes to dream. But, I love CLEAN pictures and not a ton of editing.
Should I bring anything to my portrait session?
It’s up to you. I like to work without props, but I also understand that there are things special to you, your fiancé, family, and friends.
What should I wear?
Anything COMFORTABLE! Wear what you love to wear everyday. Try to compliment your outfits and not match. I want YOU. I want your personality to show through your clothes!
What about locations?
I have plenty in mind, but I also LOVE suggestions! I love going to new places so message me and tell me what you are looking for!
How long will it take?
Portrait sessions normally last about an hour. It’s plenty of time, However, make sure that YOU are on time. If there’s one thing I encourage, it’s to be early. Your session starts when we schedule it. The time starts ticking at the time of your appointment and we have some dreamy pictures to take!
When should I book my shoot?
The sooner the better! Weddings I would book 6-12 months in advance. The venue must be secured before booking.
What is required to book my wedding date?
A signed contract and non-refundable deposit. The rest of the payment is due the week of the wedding.
What does a natural light wedding photographer mean?
I draw in natural light. I like my images to look as crisp and “natural” as possible. Less editing and more REAL pictures! It’s the best for my style. Yes, I also shoot indoors. Check out my work and see if we are a perfect fit!
Do I get all the images?
YES! I don’t believe in charging for pictures. Once they’re in your hands, they are YOURS. You will receive a print release through an online gallery called Pixieset. Once you receive the link, you can share with your friends and family so they can download them also.
Can I post my pictures to Facebook and Instagram?
Please do! I love when people share my pictures. Just make sure to give me credit and don’t manipulate/edit your pictures. A simple caption in an album or hashtag on Insta will do.
When can I see my pictures?
Each photo is edited with care and selected from over a thousand pictures, and it is my job to deliver quality images to you in timely matter. I promised, as stated in the contract, to have the images back to you within 6-8 weeks and if it is in the middle of wedding season, it may be longer. But for the meantime, I put on sneak peeks on my Facebook fan page, “Hillary Leah Photography LLC.”
What's in your Camera Bag?
I have two Canon Mark III's, 50mm 1.2 lens, 50mm 1.4 Lens, 25-105 Lens, 70-200 lens, 24-70 1.2 Lens, Gary Fong Diffuser, Cheetah Light Stand, Flash Trigger and Receiver, and Canon 580 Flashes.

Download it here! Print & take with you in case someone stops you and asks if you are crossing copyright infringement laws
Do you have insurance?
Most definitely! I can provide a copy for your venue if necessary.
Do you eat at the reception?
Yes, we do require a meal (hot or cold). Either way, we are incredibly thankful! J & I love food…especially wedding cake!
